Our lives are so busy these days but remember to always chew food properly instead of gulping it down. This helps us to absorb nutrients so we get the full benefits of the food and in turn, help to prevent the dreaded feelings of pain or bloating after dinner.

 Studies have also shown that people who take the time to chew their food properly are often more successful when it comes to weight loss. Why? Our satiety reflex (when we feel full) is more effective when we slow down to let our stomach transmit the message to our brain to tell it we have eaten enough. We feel satisfied enough then to stop eating.
